Massing
Massing, this is your main defense as a sheep. But to be a good masser, you need to be able to do more than just mass fast. You must play as a team and, most importantly, survive.
The map grid
As sheeptag is a teamgame, its important that the mazes fit together. Therefore the
best way is to use what we call 'The mapgrid'. Here are some
pointers where you can start building to get the correct pattern.
As you can see all farms fit together, this way you will have no problem building with your teammates.
Having the same grid is vital for a functional sheep team.
Gridding (normal building)
The most common way of massing. This form of massing requires the sheep to build two farms a space small enough for the sheep to go through. If you are being locked by a wolf the smartest thing to do is build a farm towards the direction the wolf is coming first and then the other side. For example if you are massing towards the right and the wolf is coming from the top, build the top farm first and then the bottom one. However do not attempt to build two top farms because this leaves you vulnerable to golems or image jumps.

Diamonding
Diamonding is when you mass in a diamond shaped form. The sheep skips every other farm. Diamonding covers more terrain, but it makes it easier for wolves to snipe, cut, golem, or image inside.

Bridging (helping)
When a sheep is cut off from the others. He will have a hard time getting back into the "main mass" by himself. That is why you should try to help him, this is sometimes called bridging. You do this by simply connecting the "main mass" with the cut-of-sheep's mass.
