This page contains some more advanced moves that most players never use. You should make sure you've learned all the basics before viewing this page.Box massing
Box massing is considered to be the hardest and fastest form of massing to master. In order to use this style of massing effectively, you have to be a good double backbuilder and it helps if you have limited misbuilds. Instead of building two farms in front of the sheep each time, you backbuild two farms, and then build two farms in front of the sheep. Then the player moves the sheep past the second set of farms and repeats the process. Again this style of massing has been said to be the fastest way of massing, but leaves the sheep more exposed and often has a higher percentage of misbuilds.
[Go to the top]Strength potions
The strength potion is a relatively new item in sheep tag, but if used correctly it can be very effective. It allows a wolf to destroy a normal farm in one hit. Keep in mind that despite a description that says it lasts for 5 seconds, it can only be used to attack a farm once. A good time to use a strength potion would be if a sheep branches out it's mass more than two farms. Usually a wolf would try to cut through a part of that mass to cut the sheep off. This usually does not work because a regular farm would take three hits (if wolf has no items), which gives the sheep plenty of time to get away. But if you use a strength potion, you have a chance of catching the sheep off guard as it is trying to get back to its main mass. Another good time to use a strength potion would be when a sheep blocks the entrance to the pen while attempting to save an ally. Usually a wolf would have to go around, image/golem inside, or waste time destroying the farm. If you use a strength potion, you can kill the farm in one hit and most likely catch the sheep off guard while its attempting to save.
[Go to the top]Double farm golem jumps
Double farm golem jumps involve an extra step, but less people know its possible to golem jump over two farms, which means many sheep will be caught off guard. The extra step is making sure there is some kind of obstacle next to your wolf. This only works in a one farm mass lane (two farms space). The best thing to do is to use your mirror image to block the space next to the real wolf. Other wolves, golems, or any farm can also be used. Basically the golem will jump over two farms because there is no space next to your wolf for it to spawn. (Technically if you put enough obstacles, a golem could be jumped over any amount of farms)
Bomber blocking
Bomber blocking is a relatively unknown skill, but if timed correctly can help you catch most sheep off guard. When a bomber is used, an inferno appears for about a second. It acts as an obstacle and can be used to blocked off a passage. The key to bomber blocking is timing. If you time it correctly, you can block off the passage that the sheep is headed for, causing it to run around even though the bomber will disappear in a second. Most of the time this will result in the sheep's death if your wolf is right behind the sheep. It is strongly recommended that you avoid using bombers on a sheep in the open field. [Go to the top]
Hard farm frontbuilds
A hard farm frontbuild is a move that ONLY works on hills large enough to fit a hard farm. The move allows a player to place a hard farm at a certain spot on the hill, so that it jumps the sheep to the closest spot next to the hard farm. The problem with this move is remembering where to place the hard farm and making sure your sheep is coming in from the angle you want to be jumped towards. If a player starts a hard farm frontbuild from the left side, it allows the player to continue building in a line across the hill until there is no room left. Starting from the right side will only let a player build two hard farms before they are jumped behind the hard farms. It should be noted that wide farms can also be used, but the build spot on the hill may be different. Hard farm frontbuilds work going up and down hills.
